In-Cabin Pets

• Pets Allowed: Small dogs, cats, and birds.
• Carrier Requirements: The pet must be in a soft-sided carrier that fits under the seat in front of you. The carrier should be leak-proof and well-ventilated, allowing the pet to stand, turn around, and lie down comfortably.
• Dimensions: The carrier should not exceed 23 cm x 30 cm x 40 cm (H x W x L) and the total weight (pet + carrier) should not exceed 8 kg (17 lbs).
• Cost: A fee applies for bringing a pet in the cabin. The exact fee depends on the route and can be confirmed on Turkish Airlines' official website.
• Limitations: Only one pet carrier is allowed per passenger, and a limited number of pets are allowed in the cabin per flight. Early booking is recommended.

Checked Baggage Pets

Policy: Larger pets that do not meet the in-cabin size and weight requirements can travel as checked baggage in the cargo hold. The cargo hold is temperature-controlled and pressurized for the safety of the pets.

Service Animals

Policy: Turkish Airlines allows service animals to accompany passengers with disabilities in the cabin at no extra charge. Proper documentation and advance notice are required.
