Carry-On Baggage

Each passenger is allowed to bring one carry-on bag and one personal item on board. The carry-on bag must not exceed:

• Dimensions: 56 cm x 35 cm x 22 cm (22 in x 14 in x 9 in)
• Weight: United does not impose a weight limit for carry-on bags, but it must fit in the overhead bin or under the seat.

Personal items include items such as a handbag, laptop bag, or small backpack.

Checked Baggage

The allowance for checked baggage varies based on your fare class, destination, and MileagePlus status. Generally, the following limits apply:

• Basic Economy: 1st checked bag fee applies. Maximum weight: 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Standard Economy: 1 free checked bag. Maximum weight: 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Business/First Class: 2 free checked bags, each up to 32 kg (70 lbs)

Excess Baggage
