CancellationThe Teen Dham Yatra is a sacred pilgrimage covering three important Hindu shrines in Uttarakhand—Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath. It is a shorter version of the Char Dham Yatra, excluding Yamunotri.
The ideal time for the Teen Dham Yatra is May to June and September to October, as the weather is pleasant. The temples remain open from April/May to October/November, depending on snowfall.
The Kedarnath trek is about 18 km from Gaurikund. It is moderately difficult and takes 6-8 hours to complete. Pilgrims can opt for pony, palanquin (doli), or helicopter services for convenience.
