Char Dham Yatra Family Package from Haridwar – Detailed Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot (Via Kempty Falls)
Depart early from Haridwar. Take a tea break at Kempty Falls, Mussoorie, for sightseeing. Reach Barkot by evening and stay overnight.
Day 2: Yamunotri Darshan
Drive to Jankichatti, start your 6-7 km trek to Yamunotri (pony, palki, and doli available). Take a dip in Surya Kund and visit Yamunotri Temple. Return to Barkot for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi
Drive to Uttarkashi, a holy town. Visit the Vishwanath Temple, among the oldest Shiva temples. Night stay in Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Gangotri Darshan
Drive to Gangotri Temple en route visit beautiful Harsil Valley. Take blessings from Maa Ganga and return to Uttarkashi.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Sersi (Near Kedarnath)
Travel towards Kedarnath, stop at Guptkashi to visit the Vishwanath Temple and Ardhnareshwar Temple. Night stay in Sersi.
Day 6: Kedarnath Temple Darshan
Depart to Sonprayag, take a local jeep to Gaurikund. Trek 16 km to Kedarnath (or take a horse, doli, or helicopter). Attend evening aarti at Kedarnath Temple.
Day 7: Kedarnath to Sersi (Via Triyuginarayan)
Visit Bhairav Temple for a beautiful view. Trek back to Sonprayag and depart towards Triyuginarayan Temple. Night stay in Sersi.
Day 8: Sersi to Badrinath
Drive to Badrinath, stopping at Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath and Narsingh Devta Temple in Joshimath. Night stay in Badrinath.
Day 9: Badrinath to Srinagar (Via Mana Village)
Visit Badrinath Temple early morning. Visit Mana Village, the first Indian village. Visit Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, and Karnaprayag Sangams. Stop at Maa Dhari Devi Temple before reaching Srinagar.
Day 10: Srinagar to Haridwar
Final journey back to Haridwar. Visit Devprayag Sangam where Bhagirathi and Alaknanda rivers meet.

You can book a cab, taxi or bus to reach from Haridwar to reach Kedarnath Dham. It would take approximately 5 hours to reach Kedarnath. The cheapest way to reach Kedarnath Dham is by bus, you can reach Gaurikund by taxi and then have trekking of 14 miles to reach Kedarnath Dham. Gaurikund is the nearest motorable area from Kedarnath
To explore the beautiful scenic view of Kedarnath Dham and also of Temple Darshan, a peron would need minimum 10 days. The place is having plenty of scenic views, some of them are Triyuginarayan Temple, Gaurikund and Guptkashi. Only two days are not enough to explore all the temples via helicopter
As the Kedarnath Temple gate is opens from late April to late October. The temple gates are closed rest of the year due to heavy snowfall. The best time to visit the temple is between April to June or July to September
